Here at Grow & Learn Outdoors I believe in exactly that. I have experience and understanding to show that, when working and playing outside, children grow; in confidence, self-esteem, resilience, independence, self-belief, knowledge of the natural environment, trust, strength and creativity. In taking part in these activities they learn about; nature, themselves, taking risks, how to solve problems, practical skills, working with others and many areas of the curriculum; including english, maths, science, technology, music and art.
CHILDREN NEED TO INTERACT WITH NATURE; THEY NEED TO EXPERIENCE THE WEATHER OF EACH SEASON AND WATCH THE CHANGES AS THEY OCCUR; THEY NEED TO BE ABLE TO TAKE RISKS AND ASSESS THE DANGERS FOR THEMSELVES;
ABOVE ALL ELSE, THEY NEED TO HAVE FUN!!
